The trip consists of round trip float plane from Campbell River on Vancouver Island, all meals (except third night dinner in Campbell River), including Dungeness Crab, plus two full and one partial days with the Grizzley Bears and Orcas in the Knight Inlet Wilderness, three nights accommodation [two at our lodge and one at a lodge of your choice in Campbell River]. You may also include many hours of fishing for all species of salmon and for the delicious bottom fish (Halibut, Ling Cod, Rock Cod). (See viewing success below!)

Grizzly Bear Lodge And Safari 2011 News Report: 2011 year has been one of the best for grizzly bear tours and whale watching. We averaged six grizzly bears per visit plus a mother grizzly with two cubs who were daily visitors. A heavy rain pushed the salmon up stream earlier this year drawing the bears to the river below our viewing stands. We had a record year for viewing orca (killer whales), humpback and dolphins. There were a few days when we saw more than 3 different pods of orca meeting and playing in the Johnstone Strait. We are looking forward to more renovations this winter and a early start to the 2012 season.
