Your Itinerary....

DAY 2 - Rise early. Coffee and breakfast and into your boat. You are off to Johnstone Strait, the summering grounds of the Orca [Killer Whale]. Cruise the area observing pods of these magnificent mammals and with a little luck you'll get to see their cousins, the Minke and Humpback Whales. Another day of diving Bald Eagles, Sea Lions, Seals, Black Bears and the magnificent White-Sided Dolphins. After a beach lunch or boat picnic there is more exploring, wildlife viewing, and, if your inclined, some fishing.

Grizzly Bear Lodge And Safari 2010 News Report: Our river valley grizzly bear count of individual bears remained in the high 40's this past season. On one trip we saw 24 different bears although our average was closer to 7 or 8 per trip. The Orcas were a week late but then were often spectacular as were the humpback and dolphins. We have the photos to show you. We're really looking forward to 2010 - to see more grizzlies as they build up for the winter fishing for salmon on our wild river and to see lots of whales again too. Our whales are the healthiest in the western Pacific.
