Thanks so much for a lovely time. We have had such a wonderful time seeing Bears, Eagles and whales. The Food was delicious and we have enjoyed being here so much. So glad we chose Grizzly Bear Lodge as our last stop.

It was chilly at times, but the welcome was very warm and the food wonderful. Thank you Glen for the guiding, we saw all we wanted/aimed to see, bears and whales. Trapper Rick and Glen introduced our girls to fishing and I suspect it wont be the last time they cast a line.

We had two great days on the water with very successful bear and whales watching. Fascinating nature and wild life surrounding the lodge!
Besides the wildlife tours a refreshing swim in the ocean is highly recommended, don't forget to heat up in the hot tub before.

Grizzly Bear Lodge And Safari 2011 News Report: 2011 year has been one of the best for grizzly bear tours and whale watching. We averaged six grizzly bears per visit plus a mother grizzly with two cubs who were daily visitors. A heavy rain pushed the salmon up stream earlier this year drawing the bears to the river below our viewing stands. We had a record year for viewing orca (killer whales), humpback and dolphins. There were a few days when we saw more than 3 different pods of orca meeting and playing in the Johnstone Strait. We are looking forward to more renovations this winter and a early start to the 2012 season. Check out the new photos from 2011 of grizzly bear tours, and whale watching tours and other local wildlife we see on our wildlife tours.
