Equipment We Supply

1. Rubber Boots [Wellingtons].
2. Cruiser Suits - To keep you warm and dry.
3. Use of washer and dryer.

 

Don't forget your camera! A camera with a zoom lens and LOTS of film or very large memory cards will give you tons of memories!


Facilities

In 2011 at the lodge we will have ,
  • upstairs, one room with queen + upper/lower twins + ensuite,
  • two rooms with 2 twins + private bathroom. 
  • Downstairs there is one room with double and twin + shared bathroom. 
  • By the beach we have our small cabin with double + ensuite

Grizzly Bear Lodge And Safari 2011 News Report: 2011 year has been one of the best for grizzly bear tours and whale watching. We averaged six grizzly bears per visit plus a mother grizzly with two cubs who were daily visitors. A heavy rain pushed the salmon up stream earlier this year drawing the bears to the river below our viewing stands. We had a record year for viewing orca (killer whales), humpback and dolphins. There were a few days when we saw more than 3 different pods of orca meeting and playing in the Johnstone Strait. We are looking forward to more renovations this winter and a early start to the 2012 season.
