Explore the Beauty Of Nature - Campbell River

Campbell River is situated on Vancouver Island and accessable via car [ferry involved] or air [Pacific Coastal Air or Central Mountain Air]. It is from here that you fly to our lodge.

Minstrel Island, where our lodge is located, is a small island on the edge of Knight Inlet. Not only does it have a colourful history but it is located perfectly for wildlife viewing - in the middle between the Grizzly river, our wild ATV river and Johnstone Strait where the whales reside.

Grizzly Bear Lodge And Safari 2010 News Report: Our river valley grizzly bear count of individual bears remained in the high 40's this past season. On one trip we saw 24 different bears although our average was closer to 7 or 8 per trip. The Orcas were a week late but then were often spectacular as were the humpback and dolphins. We have the photos to show you. We're really looking forward to 2010 - to see more grizzlies as they build up for the winter fishing for salmon on our wild river and to see lots of whales again too. Our whales are the healthiest in the western Pacific.
